- I am so sorry that you went through that. It is so unlike my community and my experience that I can't even believe what I read. I have posted several comments about personal responsibility and a no excuses mentality - but this. WTF? I don't even know what to say.

- Observation is a fair assessment. I also listen to who is loud on the streets, swearing and yelling at their kids, spitting on the sidewalk, swearing in the course of normal everyday talk on the cell, etc. But I also recognize that my field of vision is limited.

- Thank your for your comments Thinkb-4......Let us not forget however that there appears to differences in the behaviors and cultures of different countries and regions. There are things that people notice between people of their own "color".

- Are you kidding me? Imus is not responsible for any of the reported bad behavior -- neither are you or I. It is up to the individual. No excuses. I have had many if I had chosen to employ them.

- Don gets to say whatever he wants and we can either tune in or not. If you can't take it, then you are living in the wrong country. Al gets some attention as a contentious public figure but I would not take him with any more seriousness than any other celebrity - Don, Al, or otherwise. So what?
